CLEVELAND--The Cleveland Indians have only lost to the Detroit Tigers once this season, but with a postseason bid on the line, every win matters. Led by Adam Plutko's (7-4) outstanding start, a hot offense against Zac Reininger (0-3) and an standout bullpen, the Indians earn their 15th straight win against the Tigers 7-2.

Oscar Mercado got the party started with a first inning homer to left.

Indians and Tigers traded runs early in the game. In the third, Jordan Luplow had his first triple of the season which drove in Mercado and Carlos Santana to extend the Tribe lead to 4-1.

The three run third inning continued with a Perez single which brought home Luplow.

Last season, the Indians won the AL Central with 91 wins. There's no way 91 wins will be enough for an AL Central or AL Wild Card spot in 2019. But the team knows how much of a challenge these next 11 games will be.
