MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- The Cleveland Indians had some two out magic in the 11th inning of a 2-2 ballgame in Minnesota. Roberto Perez was faced with a situation involving the go-ahead runner on third base and two outs in extra innings, before slapping a high and away fastball to right field, scoring Yasiel Puig to gain a 3-2 lead. All-Star shortstop Francisco Lindor followed up Berto's RBI with an RBI of his own, hitting a chopper to third base that was deflected off of the glove of Miguel Sano. Oscar Mercado blew the game wide open with a two-run RBI single to cap off the two out rally, as the4 tribe cruised to a 6-2 win in extra innings.

Francisco Lindor launched a no-doubt 423 ft homer to right field for the first score of the game, putting the tribe ahead early by the score of 1-0. After a shaky start, the Minnesota Twins lineup woke up in the fourth inning, hitting three singles in a row to open up a 2-1 lead. Twins pitching shut down the tribe up until the eighth inning, where Yasiel Puig tied the game with a sac-fly, scoring Jason Kipnis.

Tyler Clippard was exceptional out of the tribe bullpen, throwing 1 1/3rd innings, giving up 0 runs on 0 hits, striking out three batters while earning his first win of the season. Twins reliever Brusdar Graterol was hit with the loss after giving up 3 earned runs in the 11th inning.
