CLEVELAND, OH -- Shane Bieber continues to be one of the most dominant pitchers in Major League Baseball, tossing his third complete game of the season. Bieber became the first pitcher this season to earn three complete games, giving up just 5 hits to the Anaheim Angels. The reigning All-Star Game MVP struck out eight and walked none, reaching 300 career strikeouts in his 44th major league appearance. The tribe bats continue to sizzle, driving in six runs in a 6-2 victory to complete the three-game sweep of the visiting Angels.

The tribe are the hottest team in baseball since June 4th, posting a 37-15 record in that span. Jason Kipnis hammered a solo homer and drove in three runs, Mercado also hit a solo home run on Angels' pitcher Jaime Barria, who gave up three total runs in 3 2/3 innings. The Los Angeles right hander Jaime Barria moves to a 2-4 record and an alarming 10.13 ERA on the road.

Francisco Lindor chipped in two RBI's, Santana singled twice, and lefty killer Jordan Luplow had himself a pair of doubles. Newly acquired designated hitter Franmil Reyes struckout in all four plate appearances and showed his frustration, snapping his bat over his knee following his third strikeout.

The division leading Minnesota Twins defeated the Kansas City Royals to maintain a three game lead on the Cleveland Indians, who still maintain the top spot in the A.L.wildcard hunt. The tribe will host the Texas Rangers in a three game series beginning tomorrow evening. Tribhe prospect Aaron Civale will face off against Rangers right hander Ariel Jurado. First pitch is set for 7:10 pm ET at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. Check out highlights from today's game below!
