CLEVELAND, OH -- In the top of the third inning trailing by one run, Orioles second baseman Jonathan Villar launched a 3-run homer to right field to put Baltimore ahead 3-1. The Orioles never looked back after gaining the lead, cruising to a 5-2 victory.

Dylan Bundy, who has a tendency to throw well against the Indians, pitched 5.2 near-perfect innings, giving up 0 earned runs on only 3 hits, striking out 7 batters. The Baltimore starter had the entire Indians lineup chasing his changeup, which he used as his main strikeout pitch tonight. Bundy did not give up a single hit following the third inning, and the Orioles bullpen continued the dominance, holding the Indians to 3 hits the entire game.

Tribe starter Jefry Rodriguez had a decent start tonight, but made a few key mistakes, beginning with the 3-run blast to Jonathan Villar. Rodriguez finished the game with a line of 6.2 innings pitched, four earned runs on 7 hits, striking out 5 Orioles. The Indians approach to the plate tonight did not work, as the tribe were hoping for some offensive consistency for the first time this season.

Dylan Bundy earned his second win of the season, moving him to 2-4 on the season. Jefry Rodriguez was hit his first loss of the season, as he is now 3-1.

The Cleveland Indians will face-off against the Baltimore Orioles in the third game of this 4-game series on Saturday, May 18th. Adam Plutko will get the start for the tribe, facing off against Baltimore lefty John Means. First pitch is set for 4:10 PM ET at beautiful Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio.
