HOUSTON, TX -- After mustering only one hit through the first six innings of the game, the Houston Astros jumped on Carrasco for four runs in the seventh inning. Former tribe outfielder Michael Brantley ignited the Astros' rally with a 2-out single, and was driven in by Yuli Gurriel, who roped a double to left field. The Astros 2-out rally continued after the Gurriel double, as Robinson Chirinos tattoo'd a ball to deep left field, bringing in 3 runs as the Astros cruised to a 4-1 win over the Cleveland Indians.

Carlos Carrasco had his slider working tonight in Houston, and was near-perfect through six. Carrasco struck out eight batters through 6.2 innings, giving up 4 earned runs on 6 hits. The Indians lone run came on an opposite field home run off the bat of Carlos Santana.

Astros starter Wade Miley sliced right through the Indians lineup, as he ended up making only one mistake, which was turned into a solo home run. Miley pitched a strong 5.2 innings, giving up 6 hits and only one run. Houston's bullpen picked up where Miley left off, shutting down the tribe for the remainder of the game. Framber Valdez was credited with his first win of the season, moving him to (1-1) on the year. Carlos Carrasco was hit with a loss, as he is now (23) on the young season.

The tribe will have one day off before facing off with the Miami Marlins on Tuesday evening, which will be the first game of a short two-game series. Trevor Bauer will be the starter for the Cleveland Indians, Sandy Alcantara will get the nod for the Miami Marlins. First pitch is set for 7:10 PM ET at Marlins Park in Miami, Florida.
