-With the regular season less than a week away the Indians 25man roster is slowly but surely is coming together. On Tuesday released RHP TYLER CLIPPARD.

-Then re-signed free agent RHP TYLER CLIPPARD to a Minor League contract...INF RYAN FLAHERTY elected free agency...Reassigned RHP A.J. COLE.

-The team also has told RHP Alex Wilson that he would not make the opening day roster and he is now able to seek other employment. Terry Francona said that the organization would love to keep Wilson in the organization, but time will tell.

-With Ryan Flaherty out,all signs point towards INF EricStamentspossibly making the team to play shortstop if Francisco Lindorcan’t start the season.

-Speaking of Lindor he continuesto make strides towards playing. He ran bases at 100% Wednesday and then played in a minor league game for 6 innings. Afterwards he stated that all feels well, and the next step is to play in a major league game.

-Cleveland split a pair of Cactus League decisions on Wednesday night, defeating the Los Angeles Angels, 4-2, at Goodyear Ballpark while taking a 13-0 loss across town against the San Francisco Giants at Scottsdale Stadium

-The team will wrap up its Cactus League play on Sunday. The team will then fly to Texasto play two games next Monday and Tuesday. They will then head to Minneapolis to open the season next Thursday. Francona will name his opening day starter after Corey Kluber faces the Chicago Cubs Friday night in Goodyear.
