Indians Lose To White Sox In Extra Innings

(Cleveland, OH)  --  Matt Davidson plated the go-ahead RBI single in the 11th inning to lead the White Sox past the Indians 5-4 at Progressive Field.  Omar Narvaez crushed a solo-shot in the third inning to put Chicago ahead 3-0.  Hector Santiago tossed three frames of scoreless relief to get the win as the Pale Hose snapped a three-game slide.

Francisco Lindor and Michael Brantley each homered for Cleveland and Adam Cimber was charged with the loss.  The Indians have already clinched first place in the AL Central despite losing six of their last 10.

Friday night, the Indians host the AL East Champion Boston Red Sox for the first of three in the final series of the regular season at Progressive Field.  Trevor Bauer will make his first start for the Tribe since coming off the DL, and Chris Sale starts for Boston.  Hear the game at 7:10 p.m. on WTAM 1100 AM and 106.9 FM, and 100.7 WMMS.

Take note that Sunday's game with the Red Sox has been moved back a few hours.  It was originally an afternoon game, but now will be on national TV with a 7:05 p.m. first pitch.
