Reds Stun Indians With Seven-Run 9th

(Cleveland, OH)  --  The Reds rallied for seven runs in the ninth inning to edge the Indians 7-4 in Cleveland.  

Joey Votto erased a 4-3 deficit with a bases-loaded double.  Adam Duvall had a two-run double, and Jose Peraza and Eugenio Suarez notched RBI singles in the frame.  Kyle Crockett got the win and Raisel Iglesias his 19th save.  

Francisco Lindor and Jose Ramirez homered to help Cleveland build a 4-0 lead.  Trevor Bauer struck out 12 across eight innings of three-hit ball before the bullpen imploded.  

Cody Allen was charged with six runs in the ninth to take the loss.

The Tribe will attempt to avoid being swept by the hot Reds team as they close the series Wednesday night.  Carlos Carrasco starts for the Tribe, and Tayler Mahle for Cincinnati.  First pitch at 7:10 p.m. on WTAM 1100 and 100.7 WMMS.
