#GoodNews: Boy With Rare Illness Joins KSU Basketball Team

The Kent State University men's basketball team is welcoming a new player.

Coaches and players introduced five-year-old Malyk Foster yesterday as their newest signee.

Malyk suffers from a rare form of cancer, but he'll attend Golden Flashes games, practices and other events.

His signing was made possible by Team IMPACT, which pairs seriously ill kids with college athletics programs.
