Two Injured Tribe Players Play In Triple-A Game For First Spring Action

Two Indians players made a major step forward in their injury rehab timetable yesterday.

Shortstop Francisco Lindor and outfielder Bradley Zimmer each played in a Triple-A game for the Columbus Clippers against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Lindor went 0-3 with two strikeouts while Zimmer went 0-1 with two walks in the first spring plate appearances of the season for both players.

Lindor is currently recovering from a calf injury while Zimmer continues to rehab from shoulder surgery and the opening day status of each is still unknown.
