The Cleveland Browns churned out a 17-14 victory over the Denver Broncos Thursday night at FirstEnergy Stadium.
Back-up running back D'Ernest Johnson led the way carrying the ball 22 times for 146-yards and a touchdown in his first career start in place of the injured Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.
Back-up QB Case Keenum got the start at quarterback in place of Baker Mayfield who revealed before the game that he broke the humerus in his non-throwing shoulder during Sunday's home loss to the Arizona Cardinals to go along with his already torn larum in the same shoulder.
Keenum stepped in and finished the game 21-of-33 for 199 yards and a touchdown. The Browns are off until Sunday, Oct.31 when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers.
