At least twelve U.S. soldiers, including Marines, are now reported among the dead in two bombing attacks near the Kabul Airport in Afghanistan today.
The attacks were suicide bombings believed to be carried out by ISIS. One bombing took place near a gate to the airport and the other at the Baron Hotel nearby which has been housing Afghans seeking to leave the country.
The exact number of deceased is unknown while dozens more are injured. Fifty-two hundred U.S. troops remain at Kabul Airport as Americans and Afghans try to get out of the Taliban-led country by Aug. 31.
