While the world continues to fight through the Delta-variant-driven surge in the pandemic, China announced yesterday that everything’s fine there. Specifically, China announced that they have zero COVID cases after mass-testing millions of residents.
At the end of July, an outbreak of the Delta variant hit the city of Nanjing, with more than 1,200 people infected; no deaths were reported.
The regions tested included Wuhan, the original epicenter of the pandemic. The country continues to use lockdowns, mass testing, and quarantines to try to keep COVID in check.
