The month of July saw the largest number of illegal immigrants taken into U.S. custody along the Mexican border in 21-years.
Nearly 213,000 people were detained by U.S. Border Patrol agents last month including 82,966 family members and a staggering 18,962 unaccompanied teenagers and children, an all-time high.
President Joe Biden previously claimed the numbers would drop thanks to the extreme southern heat. Instead, groups of three hundred or more have been regularly taken into custody along the southern border.
