We have been snapping up various hand sanitizers the past thirteen months thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic but a New Haven, Connecticut-based company says a portion of the hand sanitizers we buy contain detectable levels of the cancer causing chemical benzene. Valisure analyzed 260 bottles of hand sanitizer from 68 brands and discovered 17-percent contained detectable levels of the carcinogen.
