Columbia University is holding six multicultural graduation ceremonies and they will be segregated by income level, sexuality, and race.
The ceremonies will be virtual thanks to the pandemic and will take place between April 16 and April 30.
They will individually cater to Latino, Black, Native American and Asian students.
There will also be an FLI Graduation which is designated for first generation or low-income students. Columbia is also holding a 'Lavender' ceremony for LGBTQ students.
