The Los Angeles Dodgers won this year's World Series but the team's financial outlook is not the greatest.
The organization has laid-off an unknown number of employees due to losses caused by the coronavirus.
Thanks to a truncated 2020 season, the Dodgers say they lost well north of 100 million dollars.
The Dodgers are not alone. Other big league clubs laying off staff include the Cubs, A's, Orioles, Giants, Red Sox, and Astros. Major League Baseball says it lost three billion dollars in 2020.
