Joe Biden started the 'Biden Cancer Initiative' in 2017. The charity was very successful in raising money, raking in 4.8 million dollars in 2017 and 2018. Despite that massive amount of donations, it has been learned the charity gave out no money to research.
According to tax filings, the 'Biden Cancer Initiative' used more than three million dollars of the 4.8 million raised on salaries for its' top administrators.
Charity President Gregory Simon made nearly $430,000 in 2018 while one of his assistants earned $258,000. The non-profit also spent more than 3-quarters of a million dollars on conferences, according to tax filings.
