The coronavirus pandemic that's keeping millions of Americans indoors and online is leading to a spike in online exploitation of children.
That's what the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children finds. The center says, from the first half of 2019 through June of this year, reports of online enticement of children nearly doubled.
The center says it received fewer than 69-hundred reports during the first half of last year. It got more than 13-thousand reports of children exploited online during the first six months of 2020. In New Jersey alone, cases have risen 75-percent.
