Rioters who have looted Apple Stores across the country are getting quite the surprise.
Those who have stolen iPhones are finding out the devices contain special software that tracks the phone's location.
When looters turn on the devices, they are greeted with a message that reads 'This device has been disabled and is being tracked. Local authorities will be alerted.'
Apple stores have been looted in New York City, Washington and Los Angeles.
