Four Saint Louis Police officers are hospitalized after they were shot overnight during violent protests in the city's Olive Street corridor in Downtown St. Louis.
The officers were responding to protests that turned ugly just blocks away from the St. Louis Police Headquarters.
Police officials say the officers injuries all appear to be non-life threatening but that other officers continued to take gunfire after the officers were wounded.
The St. Louis Police received assistance from the Missouri State Patrol and other law enforcement agencies to try and quell the violence in the city.
