Coronavirus remains a major concern but a term that has popped up in its' wake is 'herd immunity.'
Herd immunity takes place when a large number of people become immune to an infectious disease which stops the disease by spreading.
Herd immunity takes place when that large group of people gets an infectious disease and over time, build up an immune response to it or a natural immunity.
Researchers say eighty to ninety-five percent of a populated area must be immune to a disease to keep it from spreading.
