Commercial burglaries in New York City have skyrocketed in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
The New York City Police Department says the crimes are up 75 percent since New York Mayor Bill DeBlasio declared a state of emergency in the city on March 12.
Police say criminals are specifically targeting cash businesses, supermarkets and bodegas.
