Americans are stockpiling on supplies thanks to the coronavirus and there are widespread reports of price gouging throughout the country.
An Associated Press survey of attorneys general and consumer protection agencies says hundreds of gouging reports are coming in daily as Americans deal with the crisis.
One store advertised hand sanitizer at $60 a bottle, another store hawked thermometers at $26 a pop while another touted toilet paper at ten bucks a roll.
Food items such as milk are being sold for nearly $7 a gallon in one store in Southern California.
