Governor Mike DeWine updates Ohio's coronavirus numbers Monday afternoon and there are now 1,933 confirmed cases and 39 deaths from the virus statewide.
Cuyahoga County has 493 of the confirmed cases statewide and there are now 4 fatalities in the county as a result.Summit and Miami counties have five deaths each while Mahoning county has seen four people die from COVID-19.
Governor DeWine also says he received word Sunday night that Columbus-Based Battelle can start sterilizing recycled protective masks for the state's first responders, health care workers and others.
The company has the capacity to sterilize 80,000 of the masks daily. Governor DeWine also extended the state's closure of the schools until May 1. Children were initially given a three week spring break due to the virus with a return date of April 6.
