More injury woes for the Cleveland Indians as spring training continues to play out in Goodyear, Arizona.
Outfielder Oscar Mercado was forced out of Thursday's Cactus League game against the San Francisco Giants when he appeared to bend his wrist backward while attempting to make a diving catch in the fourth inning.
Mercado's status will be further evaluated in the coming days in Arizona. Mercado was 1-for-2 with a two run homer before the injury.
