A sigh of relief in Goodyear, Arizona from the Cleveland Indians. Turns out, the injury suffered Wednesday by Righthander Carlos Carrasco is not serious.
He is dealing with a strained right hip flexor which he injured Wednesday during a weightlifting exercise.
Carrasco is listed as 'day to day' following tests and imaging on Thursday.
The Indians are already dealing with an injury to pitcher Mike Clevinger who is out at least six weeks following surgery last week on partially torn meniscus in his knee.
