Valentine's Day is right around the corner but many people take part in a type of infidelity with their spouse, financial infidelity.
According to a survey from CreditCards.com, 44% of those in relationships admit they have a separate stash of cash that their spouse or partner do not know about.
The survey also found that many others have a secret account or credit card while about ten percent of folks have a hidden debt of some sort.
Thirty-six percent of respondents justify their money secrets due to a need for privacy or a desire to control their own funds while 26-percent say they are embarrassed about their handling of their own cash.
Despite the common nature of financial infidelity, 27-percent of people agree it is worse than cheating on your spouse or partner.
