Jane Fonda Makes Climate Change Statement At Oscars

Actress Jane Fonda made news at Sunday's 92nd annual Academy Awards in Hollywood.

Fonda took to the stage to present 'Best Film' wearing a crimson beaded gown which she previously wore to a 2014 film festival.

Fonda also had a cardinal-red coat she carried on stage claiming it was the last item of clothing she will ever buy.

Fonda says she is no longer going to purchase new clothing as part of her ongoing protest against climate change.

She says we don't need to keep shopping, we don't need it for our identity and we don't need more stuff. Fonda says she is walking the walk and not buying any more clothing.
