Triv And Mortach Financial Rally Today For Travis Mills Foundation

WTAM 1100's 'Mike Trivisonno Show' in conjunction with David Mortach and 'Mortach Financial' are holding a raffle today to benefit the Travis Mills Foundation.

Travis Mills was serving in the United States Army and on his third tour of duty in Afghanistan when he accidentally placed his backpack on an improvised explosive device. The subsequent blast led to Travis losing his arms and legs.

Travis recovered and ultimately founded the Travis Mills Foundation along with his wife.

The foundation bought a rural estate in central Maine which affords veterans with lost limbs and their families all-expense paid trips where they can enjoy various activities and enjoy much needed rest and relaxation.

Today, The 'Triv Show' and David Mortach will be broadcasting live from 10am till 7pm during a raffle which is being held in the auditorium of the WTAM 1100 studios at 6200 Oak Tree Blvd. in Independence.

Travis Mills, himself, will be in attendance, as well as other veterans who have suffered similar injuries.

Triv and David are hoping to sell 1100 raffle tickets at $100.00 each to raise money for the Travis Mills Foundation.

There are three, cash prizes as part of the raffle. First Prize is $20,000, Second Prize is $7,000 and Third Prize is $3,000.
