County leaders have unveiled a plan to enhance the county's 30 miles of lakefront.
County Executive Armond Budish Thursday announced plans for a boardwalk to be constructed in interspersed sections along the lakefront from one end of the county to the other.
The county will create better access to the lake by improving roads leading to the lakefront.
Budish also wants connected paths and trails constructed along the lakefront.
Budish says the potential for economic development would increase with his proposed improvements.
Budish says a planning study must first be done before they can proceed with the improvements.
