Student On Student Attack Closes Mentor High School Today

A 17-year old student at Mentor High School is facing charges after she attacked another student in a hallway Thursday.

The young suspect came up from behind her victim and slammed her to the ground before punching her in the face.

The 17 year old victim had to be rushed to Lake West Hospital where she was treated and released.

Mentor Principal Jason Crowe, said in a letter to parents, that the suspect's behavior is very disturbing and will not be tolerated.

Classes at Mentor were cancelled today.
