San Fran Residents Take Action; City Says 'Not So Fast'

Crews in San Francisco, Monday, removed about a two dozen boulders from a residential area after neighbors placed them there last week to keep homeless people and people shooting up from sleeping on the sidewalk.

Residents say they pooled cash together to purchase the boulders to keep homeless and drug users out of their community.

City spokesman Mohammed Nuru says the boulders were removed due to safety concerns as, he says, they were being pushed out into the street.
