Dozens of former student-athletes from Ohio State University have filed a lawsuit against the school which is the most recent of suits leveled against the institution surrounding former O.S.U. team doctor Richard Strauss.
Thirty-seven former Buckeye athletes, in the lawsuit, claim Strauss sexually abused them while they were given physicals or being treated for injuries by Strauss.
The Title IX lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Ohio.
Former wrestler Michael DiSabato and 36 'John Does' are listed in the suit.
One of the attorneys involved in the suit tells USA TODAY Sports that 20 of the 'John Does' were ex-football players with several going on to play in the National Football League.
