The Angels and star slugger Mike Trout are finalizing a 12 year contract extension worth 430 million dollars.
The contract would become the largest in sports history shattering the 330 million dollar deal Bryce Harper recently signed with the Phillies.
The deal would pay Trout 35.83 million dollars a year.
The 27-year old outfielder's resume already includes two Most Valuable Player awards.
In seven full seasons, Trout is a career .307 hitter with 240 home runs and 648 RBI's.
