A legal victory for former Cuyahoga County Auditor Frank Russo.
His 22 year prison sentenced for corruption was reduced in federal court Thursday by 8 years, to 14 years in prison.
Russo was handed the 22 year stint in 2013 for his role in a sweeping Cuyahoga County corruption scandal.
Russo agreed to testify against former Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora in exchange for a lighter sentence. Dimora is currently serving 28 years.
