Notorious Mexican drug lord Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman has been convicted of all charges against him at his federal trial in Brooklyn, New York.
A jury of eight women and four men rendered their verdicts Tuesday against the 61 year old Guzman on charges he trafficked billions of dollars worth of drugs into the United States as a leader with the Sinaloa drug cartel.
The trial saw testimony from 56 different witnesses, 14 of whom were admitted criminals who cooperated with the U.S. government. The jury's verdict was unanimous. Guzman faces life in prison when sentenced.
