(Cleveland) - The Cleveland Browns have signed embattled running back Kareem Hunt.
Hunt was released by the Kansas City Chiefs last season after video surfaced of an altercation Hunt had with a nineteen year old woman last February at 'The 9' in downtown Cleveland.
Video from 'The 9' shows Hunt shoving and kicking the woman.
Hunt rushed for more than 2,100 yards with 15 TD's while adding 79 catches for 833 yards with 10 touchdowns. Hunt made the Pro Bowl his rookie year.
Browns G.M. John Dorsey says Hunt showed true remorse for his egregious actions and that Hunt is undergoing and is committed to necessary professional treatment and a plan that has been clearly laid out.
Hunt is a graduate of Willoughby South High School and played his college ball at Toledo.
