Many Folks To Skip Work 'Super Bowl Monday'

A new survey is out and, if it's any indication, bosses should expect fewer people at the office Monday morning following the Super Bowl on Sunday.

It is estimated, by the Workforce Institute at Kronos Incorporated, that 17.2 million people are likely to skip work the day after the game.

Eight million are taking a pre-approved day off although 4.7 million people will call in sick, despite the fact they are not sick.

Another 22 million employees are expected to come in late to the office Monday, 3.1 million are expected to leave early while 12.5 million folks are expected to work remotely from home.
