The deep freeze, which has gripped much of the Midwest, continues to have a deadly impact.
At least nine deaths have now been attributed to the arctic air which is passing through the region, dropping wind chill factors to 40 below zero in some parts of the country.
Schools throughout the affected region, and in Northeast Ohio, have been closed the past two days.
Locally, temperatures are expected to top out at 7 degrees Thursday.
The high Friday is expected to climb to 20 degrees with forecasted highs checking in Sunday and Monday in the lower 50's.
