Throttle Down In Browns Search For Head Coach

(Berea) - The Cleveland Browns tumultuous and overachieving season came to an end Sunday in Baltimore with a 26-24 loss to the Ravens.

Now, the task of finding a head coach for the up and coming team begins in earnest.  Browns General Manager John Dorsey says Gregg Williams will be interviewed for the head coaching position on Tuesday.

Williams led the Browns to a 5-and-3 record following the mid-season firing of Hue Jackson.  Dorsey also said Freddie Kitchens is also a candidate for the head coaching position.

Kitchens oversaw a resurgence in the Browns offense as the main play caller the last 8 games of the season.

Some other potential candidates for the Browns job reportedly include former Dolphins head coach Adam Gase, Former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy and Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell.
