Columbus) - Urban Meyer is retiring as head coach of Ohio State. Meyer's last game will be the Rose Bowl New Year's Day against Washington.
The 54-year old has been battling a cyst on his brain and had surgery in 2014 to drain it. Meyer was also suspended three games to start the year in the Zack Smith domestic violence allegations case.
Meyer is 82-and-9 in seven seasons at Ohio State with one National Title and back-to-back Big-10 championships. OSU Offensive Coordinator Ryan Day will replace Meyer.
