Flip LeBron The Bird

Flip LeBron the Bird

The King returns to Cleveland Thanksgiving week when his new basketball team from Los Angeles plays the Cleveland Cavaliers. To welcome #23 home for the holidays, iHeartMedia Cleveland’s Mike Trivisonno Show wants you to “Flip LeBron the Bird” and drop off a frozen turkey to benefit the St. Augustine Hunger Center. It’s you chance to do some good in lieu of LeBron’s poor decision to leave Cleveland.

WHAT:          WTAM’s Mike Trivisonno Show collects frozen turkeys and canned food donations to benefit St. Augustine Hunger Center during a live broadcast.

WHERE:        iHeartMedia Cleveland’s Parking Lot located at 6200 Oak Tree Boulevard - Independence, Ohio  44131

WHEN:          Monday, November 19, 2018 from Noon until 6:00 p.m.

All donations received will be given to the St. Augustine Church and Hunger Center on West 14th Street. St. Augustine has a strong reputation for their daily meal program offered to the needy.  Their Thanksgiving meal program, now in its 46th year under the leadership of Sr. Corita Ambro and Rev. Joseph D. McNulty, is one of the most celebrated programs in Cleveland’s inner city. The hunger center has drawn attention and visits from national dignitaries such as President George Bush, but it’s programs and fundraisers from local individuals like Mike Trivisonno that are the heart of the what St. Augustine stands for.

To encourage fans to “Flip LeBron the Bird,” iHop has teamed up with the Mike Trivisonno Show and will provide a gift card valid for a free breakfast to the first 100 donors of a frozen turkey. Special thanks also goes out to Kenneth J. Wolnik, DDS in Parma Heights for his donation to this event, along with Berea Moving and Storage and Jim’s Trailer Sales in Grafton for use of the donation trucks and RV’s.

Fans can follow WTAM and The Mike Trivisonno Show on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram by using the handle @WTAM1100 to monitor progress of the donations and see photos of fans, “Flipping LeBron the Bird.”
