(Montgomery County, MD.) - Five players on the Damascus High School Junior Varsity football team in Montgomery County, Maryland have been charged with a number of rape offenses after police say the players assaulted two teammates with a broomstick Halloween night.
Investigators say the five players also tried to assault two other players. The nature of the assaults are not known but the alleged victims say the broomstick attack is part of a hazing ritual.
