President Trump says 15,000 military troops could now be deployed to the U.S.-Mexico border as a migrant caravan from Central America draws closer.
The Pentagon has said more than 7,000 troops were being sent to the border to aid Customs and Border Patrol agents.
The numbers of possible deployed troops have changed as President Trump has continually drawn a hard line on immigration leading up to next week's midterm elections.
