High profile Democrats aren't the only ones who have been threatened by suspicious mailings. During the 2016 Presidential campaign, then candidate Trump's 'Trump Tower' in New York City was mailed two suspicious packages which contained a white powder prompting an anthrax scare.
The powder turned out to be harmless. In another instance in February, Eric Trump's wife Vanessa opened a mailed package that showed up to their home. It contained a white powder that turned out to be non-harmful.
The Trump's have also been threatened by Hollywood types. Actor Peter Fonda said Donald and Melania's Barron should be ripped from his mother's arms and put in a cage with pedophiles and see if the mother will stand up to the giant A-Hole she is married to. Fonda, later, apologized for his comments.
