(Washington) - Nikki Haley, the UN Ambassador for the U.S. will be leaving that post at the end of the year. In a White House appearance with Haley, President Trump said Haley has done an incredible job and he noted he hates to lose her.
Trump also called Haley very special. He said Haley clued him in on her plans about six months ago. Haley is the former Republican governor of South Carolina.
House Speaker Paul Ryan had some kind words for Haley calling her a 'clear, consistent and powerful voice for America's interests and democratic principles on the world stage.' Ryan says Haley 'challenged friend and foe to be better.'
