(Stow) - Parents in the Stow-Munroe Falls Schools are being urged to take precautions amid an outbreak of hand, foot and mouth disease.
District leaders say the highly contagious illness is spreading among children throughout the community. Symptoms include blisters or sores on the feet, hands and face as well as headaches and fevers.
Families are asked to keep kids at home while symptoms persist and promote frequent hand washing.
