The U.S. and Mexico closed a tentative trade deal Monday which helped stocks soar on Wall Street. The Dow initially climbed 260-points after word of the deal surfaced and the Nasdaq climbed above 8,000 for the first time.
The deal between the U.S. and Mexico could lead to an overhaul of the 24-year old North American Free Trade Agreement.
Both countries will now try and get Canada to join the deal which is the third country in NAFTA. President Trump says the pact is a "big day for trade" and a "big day for our country."
