If you want to relax, well, today is the day to do it. August 15 is 'National Relaxation Day' which means it is time to slow down and unwind.
Taking time off to re-set the pins and re-start the mind and body can help curb or prevent many health risks.
The brainchild behind 'National Relaxation Day' says the grind of everyday life and work can make people run down and tired and that related stress can be harmful to our health, both mentally and physically.
Many doctors agree that reducing stress will improve overall health. Sean Moeller founded 'National Relaxation Day' while a fourth grader in 1985.
